SEASON AT A GLANCE: An All-Southern Section selection as a sophomore and junior, Schiman had 41 goals and 39 assists this season for the Chargers, who won the Marmonte League title and defeated two-time defending Division II champion Santa Barbara, 5-2, in the section final.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Schiman scored a goal, had an assist and drew five ejection fouls in the final Wednesday. Two of the ejection fouls were against top defender Rosey Godlis, who fouled out. “Santa Barbara knew our primary offense went through DeDe [Perram], so we confused Santa Barbara a little bit by running some of the offense through Colleen,” Coach Jason Rosenthal said.
