Katherine Frances Felix Gavette, a homemaker and lifelong Ventura County resident, died at her home Feb. 28. She was 80.
Gavette, who enjoyed motorcycle riding, camping, gardening, crocheting and working around her ranch, was born July 26, 1920.
She was active in the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Ventura.
She is survived by her husband, Victor; sons Eugene Agdeppa of Simi Valley and Gerald Agdeppa of Ventura; daughters Jacqueline Scheinert of Ventura, Diane Pineda of Ventura and Georgette Young of Clarksville, Ark.; brother Joseph Felix of Ventura; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jim Fritz officiating. Interment will be private.
Donations in Gavette’s memory may be made to the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Ventura, a local hospice program or the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home in Ventura.
