Prism Software Corp. Names Barry R. Lathan President

Barry R. Lathan has been named president and chief operating officer of Prism Software Corp. in Lake Forest. Lathan was formerly president and chief executive of Xerox ColorgrafX Systems Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Xerox Corp.

* Morris Meadow is the new director of community relations for Leisure World Laguna Woods. He has been with Professional Community Management Inc., the Leisure World management company, for 15 years.

* Brian Anderson has been named chief marketing officer of Access360 in Irvine. He was formerly chief marketing officer at HNC Software Inc., and before that was vice president of worldwide corporate marketing at FileNet Corp.

* Eric Uhlenhoff has joined Legacy Electronics in San Clemente as chief operating officer. Uhlenhoff had been with Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho, for 13 years.

* Frank Chiu has been named director, biostatistics and data management for NeoTherapeutics Inc. in Irvine. Before joining the company, Chiu held various positions in biostatistics and data management at Ligand Pharmaceuticals and Allergan Inc.

* Richard E. Cole has been elected vice chairman of InsureTrade in Santa Ana. Cole has been a director on the InsureTrade board since April.

* John Patinella has been appointed vice president of franchise development at Money Mailer LLC in Garden Grove. He was formerly president of Money Mailer of the Midwest, a regional office.
