From Times wire services

A judge in Denver said he approves of Timothy J. McVeigh’s agreement with a coroner and the government that no autopsy be conducted after his execution for the April 19, 1995, Oklahoma City bombing, which killed 168 people. But U.S. District Judge Richard Matsch said he lacks the authority to order that no autopsy be performed.

Lawyers for McVeigh, the federal government and the coroner in Vigo County, Ind.--where McVeigh is incarcerated--signed the agreement March 9.

McVeigh, 32, objects to an autopsy for religious, ethical and philosophical reasons.
