Logan Rejoins Bearcats After Visit to Grandmother

Share

Cincinnati junior guard Steve Logan rejoined the team in San Diego on Tuesday after returning to Ohio Sunday to visit his ill grandmother in Cleveland.

Logan, the team’s leading scorer and Conference USA player of the year, practiced with the team at the University of San Diego before the team departed for its hotel in Anaheim.

Logan suffered a mild sprain in his left little finger in a fall Saturday in the victory over Kent State, but it is not expected to be a problem for him Thursday against Stanford.

“He was fine,” Coach Bob Huggins said.

Logan, averaging 17.8 points, has led the team in scoring in 15 of its last 21 games.

Cincinnati is scheduled to practice today at the Arrowhead Pond at 1 p.m.
