Sheridan Ball to Lead Choruses in Carnegie Preview

Previewing the program he will conduct in Carnegie Hall in New York on May 19, Sheridan Ball will lead four local choruses in music by Mozart, Faure and Ralph Vaughan Williams on March 31 and April 1 at Cypress College.

Ball will conduct the Cypress Masterworks Chorale and Cypress Camerata, the Fullerton First United Methodist Church Aldersgate Choral and the Fullerton First Lutheran Chancel Choir as they sing Mozart’s Magnificat, Faure’s Requiem and Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem.

Soloists will include sopranos Skye O’Neal and Crystal Barron, and baritone James Anest.

The program will be sung March 31 at 7:30 p.m. and April 1 at 3 p.m. in the Cypress College Campus Theater, 9200 Valley View, Cypress. Cost: $14, $12 for seniors and children 12 and under. (714) 995-4832.
