Work Expected to Begin on UCI Day-Care Center
UC Irvine is about to break ground on a new day-care center, its seventh.
The school already has more child-care centers than any other UC campus.
The 2,500-square-foot center, expected to be completed in December, will provide care for 45 children ages 3 months to 12 years whose parents are UCI students, faculty or staff.
It also is open to alumni and the community.
The center, at 6533 Adobe Circle Road on the UCI campus, will replace a temporary facility there and will cost $1.2 million.
