Juanita Belveal; Retired Waitress

Juanita Belveal of Ventura, a retired waitress, died Monday in a Ventura hospital. She was 74.

Belveal was born March 28, 1927, in Milton, Okla.

She worked as a waitress for 45 years before retiring in March 1984. Ten years later, Belveal moved from El Monte to Ventura, where she lived at the Silvercrest Residences.

She is survived by a brother, Bud Williams of Pocola, Okla.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home in Ventura, which is handling the arrangements.

Services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cliff Howery of Grace Baptist Church of Ventura officiating. Burial will be private.
