Schools Chief Lynch Gets San Diego Post
Peggy Lynch, superintendent of the Brea Olinda Unified School District, is taking a job in San Diego County, school officials said.
Lynch, who has presided over the 6,000-student school system for seven years, will become superintendent of the San Dieguito Union High School District.
On Monday, the Brea Olinda school board will discuss the process for finding a new superintendent, said board President James Reed.
“We’re going to miss her a lot. I wrote the worst letter of recommendation I could think of, just so they wouldn’t take her,” Reed joked.
