Feeling overwhelmed by this year’s onslaught of awards shows? Here’s another: “The 36th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards” (8 p.m. CBS), a three-hour extravaganza from the Universal Amphitheatre.

Hosted by LeAnn Rimes, the tape-delayed telecast features a performance by Lee Ann Womack (“I Hope You Dance”), who leads the field with six nominations alongside Toby Keith.

And for those scoring at home, other nominees are Faith Hill, the Dixie Chicks and George Strait.

Kenny Rogers, who in 1977 won the first of his eight ACM Awards, will receive the career achievement award from Glen Campbell.

“Party of Five” alum Scott Wolf makes the first of three guest shots on “Spin City” (9:30 p.m. ABC) as the love interest for Heather Locklear’s Caitlin. Anything to get under Charlie’s skin, eh?

There was always a Method to the madness of Marlon Brando, who has riveted moviegoers in great films ranging from “A Streetcar Named Desire” to “The Godfather.” He’s also the subject of “Bravo Profiles” (10 p.m. Bravo).
