75 Students to Be Named Reagan Library Scholars
Seventy-five high school seniors from 21 Ventura County schools will be honored as Ronald Reagan Presidential Library Scholars, officials said Monday.
The students, who were selected from applications based on grades, letters of recommendation, leadership positions and a 500-word essay, will receive commendations during a dinner Friday at the presidential library near Simi Valley.
Three of the students will each receive $5,000 scholarships.
University of California Regent Ward Connerly will be the featured speaker at the dinner.
