Toronto Coach Pat Quinn was fined $10,000 by the NHL for making physical contact with Toronto Sun photographer Stan Behal last week.
Behal filed an assault complaint after Quinn grabbed him by the neck and shoved him while he was photographing Tie Domi en route to the forward’s disciplinary hearing at the NHL’s Toronto office last Friday. Behal withdrew the complaint on Sunday after Quinn apologized.
Detroit captain Steve Yzerman and his wife, Lisa, became U.S. citizens in a ceremony at a Detroit area middle school.
