A San Clemente High School teacher facing charges that he made a terrorist threat against his supervisors posted bail and has been released from the Orange County Jail, authorities said.
Frank Gardner, 49, was arrested and charged after he told a nurse at South Coast Medical Center that he wanted to kill his supervisors or harm himself, authorities said. He was arrested in February after a disciplinary hearing at the Capistrano Unified School District.
Gardner, who has pleaded not guilty, was released last week after posting $25,000 bail and returned to his San Clemente home after two months in jail. His next court hearing is set for later this month, a spokeswoman for the Orange County district attorney’s office said.
