Ex-Spy Chief May Be in Jungle, Official Says

Peru’s fugitive former spy chief, Vladimiro Montesinos, may have left a hide-out in Venezuela for the Colombian jungle, the state attorney investigating him for alleged corruption said.
But Jose Ugaz told RPP radio that he believes Venezuela is still the most attractive place for Montesinos.
Montesinos is alleged to have made millions in illicit arms deals, and some reports suggest that he ran guns to Colombia’s biggest rebel army, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia.
