An A+ for ‘Growing Up in L.A.’

I have been a kindergarten and first-grade teacher for 31 years. Bravo! A+ work on the stories about wonderful children (“Growing Up in L.A.,” April 22). You chose top-class reporters and photographers. They entered the lives of beautifully diverse young people with respect. Your writers were brief and to the point. It is so refreshing to read anything in a newspaper that leaves you with a feeling and reason for hope. Far too often newspapers report what went wrong. Be praised for reporting what is right with L.A. and Southern California.
