Driver Slain, Run Over; Possible Road Rage Case
Police are looking for the man who stabbed a woman to death Monday evening, possibly in a fit of road rage, and then ran over her with his car.
Police Officer Jason Lee said the woman had argued with the man just before 7 p.m. while they were in their cars at Vanalden Avenue and Schoenborn Street. The man got out of his van, attacked the woman in her car and dragged her to the pavement, Lee said. He reportedly stabbed the woman again while she was on the ground. He then ran over her several times, Lee said.
The attacker fled in a white Ford minivan with paper license plates from Galpin Ford. He was described as Latino, heavyset, 35 to 40 years old.
Police did not release the name of the woman.
