Range of styles: Pasadena Historic Highland’s Seventh Annual Home Tour will feature seven homes of varying styles, including a 116-year-old Victorian built by Ezra Dane, one of the area’s original farmers; and a Dutch Colonial Revival farmhouse.

The tour is in an area bordered by Washington Boulevard, Lake Avenue, New York Drive and Hill Avenue. Proceeds will benefit local elementary schools and neighborhood beautification projects.

Location: Tickets and addresses of homes on the tour are available at 1450 N. Michigan Ave. or 1415 N. Chester Ave.

SATURDAY

Victorian visit: Claremont Heritage will hold a walking tour of the exteriors of Victorians, the college and commercial buildings.

Location: The front of the historic Claremont Metrolink Depot, 200 W. 1st St.

Time: 10 to 11:45 a.m.

Restoration fair: The second-annual Old House Fair in San Diego, offering free exhibits and expert advice for the homeowner-restorer interested in re-creating the craftsmanship of older homes. Tour historic homes the same day.

Location: 30th and Beach streets in historic South Park, San Diego.

Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cost: Free exhibits; $15 home tour
