At Least 11 Are Shot After Block Party
From Times Wire Reports
At least 11 people were shot after a block party in Baltimore, police said.
No deaths were immediately reported, but there were “some very serious injuries,” Baltimore police spokesman Kevin Enright said.
He said investigators did not know how many shooters were involved but that firing was “indiscriminate.”
A block party with about 200 people had been held on the street early in the evening, Enright said. It was supposed to end at 7 p.m., but about 75 to 100 people were still on the scene when the shooting began.
