Advisory Panel Seeks Health Fund Requests

A citizens advisory group will discuss plans Wednesday to distribute $1.5 million for Ventura County health programs.
The committee is asking community groups to submit funding requests. Money comes from $10 million the county receives annually from a tobacco lawsuit settlement.
The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. in the third-floor multipurpose room at the Hall of Administration, 800 S. Victoria Ave., Ventura.
