From Times Wire Reports

A mentally disturbed man was sentenced to spend 132 to 264 years in prison for a February machete rampage at an elementary school in which he attacked the principal, two teachers and 11 children.

William Michael Stankewicz, 56, of Johnson City, Tenn., pleaded guilty in September to two counts of attempted murder, 16 counts of aggravated assault and a weapon charge. Stankewicz was also ordered to undergo psychiatric treatment for anxiety and depression and was prohibited from having contact with the victims.

Stankewicz said he drove to North Hopewell-Winterstown Elementary School in York, Pa., on Feb. 2 to seek retribution against his ex-wife, whose children once attended the school.
