St. Mel Catholic Church will host the 25th annual Catholic-Jewish Women’s Conference at 9 a.m. Monday at 20870 Ventura Blvd., Woodland Hills.

This year’s theme will be “The Power of Story: Catholic and Jewish Women Find Their Voices.” The conference will focus on the role women play in the Catholic and Jewish faiths.

The event will feature guest speakers Rabbi Debra Orenstein, senior fellow at the Wilstein Institute of Jewish Policy Studies, and Kay Murdy, director of the Los Angeles Archdiocese Bible Institute. They will explore how women in the Bible influenced religion and how women today can view them as role models.
