Molestation Probe Finds No Wrongdoing
A 21-year-old teacher’s aide at a day care center has been cleared by police of wrongdoing after an investigation of claims that he molested several children at the facility.
The man, who remains unidentified because he was never arrested, was the subject of a police probe after some parents at Supporting Future Growth Child Development Center in Hayward complained that their children said he abused them.
Some of them told their parents he pinched and grabbed them to make them behave, investigators said.
The children were interviewed at a special investigative center in San Leandro, and there was found to be little substance to the allegations. None of the children interviewed by police indicated that the man sexually or physically abused them, police said.
