Man Accused of Having Loaded Gun in Baggage
A man planning to fly to Washington was arrested at an airport for allegedly having a loaded handgun in his carry-on luggage.
Clyde H. Reeves II, 29, of University Park, Ill., was charged with violating federal law prohibiting carrying a dangerous weapon aboard a commercial aircraft, U.S. Atty. Margaret Chiara announced Friday.
Reeves was arrested at Kent County International Airport in Grand Rapids after a security agent using an X-ray machine saw what he thought was a gun in Reeves’ bag, according to a federal complaint.
