Anaheim Man Arrested in Fatal Shooting
A 36-year-old Anaheim man has been arrested on suspicion of fatally shooting a man he thought was having an affair with his wife, police said Tuesday.
Manual Resendiz Martinez, 47, was shot early Monday as he sat in his truck sipping coffee before leaving for work, investigators said. He staggered from the truck and fell on the street in front of his home, Garden Grove police said.
Police arrested Jose Carlos Hernandez on suspicion of murder. Investigators said he drove to Martinez’s Garden Grove neighborhood, confronted him and fired seven rounds from a gun, striking him five times, police said.
Hernandez is being held without bail at Central Men’s Jail in Santa Ana. Arraignment was set for today.
