Storm to Bring Rain to Southland This Weekend
A storm will pelt Los Angeles with rain this weekend, but will spare the area on Thanksgiving, according to the National Weather Service.
Today the weather will be partly cloudy. On Thanksgiving, it will be mostly cloudy, with some patchy fog at night and in the morning, with highs in the mid-60s to low 70s.
Surfers will be happy today because waves from eight to 10 feet will pound Southern California beaches.
Two weeks ago, the storm that hit Southern California dumped a quarter to a half-inch of rain in the Los Angeles area, said Stuart Seto, of the National Weather Service. The storm heading for Southern California from the Northwest will dump more rain than the previous one, he said.
