Refugee Children
The photo of those two cherubic, beautiful refugee children happily warming themselves before an outdoor fire in the midst of a war-torn environment (Page A19, Nov. 21) is a glorious testament to the timeless beauty of innocence and to the common admiration of this human condition among Earth’s inhabitants. How could anyone view the people of Afghanistan as being any different from ourselves, aside from clothing styles, after seeing this wonderful photo?
