From Times Wire Reports

The board president of the state’s second-largest school district has apologized for sending an e-mail suggesting that two colleagues be shot.

Sue Braun of the San Diego Unified School District said her e-mail was “inappropriate,” but was intended as a joke and not as a threat to her fellow board members.

In her e-mail, Braun expressed frustration about John de Beck and Frances O’Neill Zimmerman for prolonging meetings with debate.
