Tustin Man Charged With 6 Lewd Acts

A Tustin man has been charged with performing lewd acts with children, authorities said Tuesday.
Kirk Brian Eggleston, 35, is accused of approaching 7- to 10-year-old girls at three Costa Mesa locations--a library, a ballet studio and a bookstore--and either exposing himself or trying to expose himself, a police spokeswoman said.
He is being held at Orange County Jail in Santa Ana in lieu of $150,000 bail after being arrested by Costa Mesa police late last week near his home, authorities said. He is charged with three counts of annoying or molesting a child, two counts of indecent exposure and one count of committing a lewd act.
