Sobriety Checkpoint Planned for Saturday

Police will set up a sobriety checkpoint Saturday on Katella Avenue.
Motorists will be screened and their driver’s licenses checked from 8:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. in an attempt to get unlicensed or impaired drivers off the road, said Los Alamitos Police Capt. Todd Mattern.
The checkpoint is among 18 scheduled through June 2002 in Cypress, Los Alamitos and Seal Beach.
