From Times Wire Reports

The deaths of three people have been tied to a 14-hour rave party that lasted into Sunday morning on the Chemehuevi Indian Reservation in the Mojave Desert.

One person died from an apparent drug overdose at the “Nocturnal Wonderland” rave party, officials said. Two other victims, who did not attend the rave, died in separate automobile accidents involving people who authorities said had been at the party.

The party took place on a mile-long landing strip and drew more than 20,000 people. Dozens of people needed medical treatment and at least 80 people were arrested, primarily for selling or possessing the drug Ecstasy.
