Board to Discuss School Chief’s Office
The Oxnard Union High School District will host a special board meeting Thursday to discuss the future of the superintendent’s office.
School board members are seeking suggestions on what characteristics the district’s next superintendent should possess. Board members are expected to decide whether they should launch a search or hire Gary Davis, the district’s assistant superintendent of educational services.
Davis has been serving in the post since mid-June, when trustees fired nine-year Supt. William Studt on a split vote.
The meeting will start at 7 p.m. at school district headquarters, 220 South K St.
