* Nexell Therapeutics Inc. in Irvine said Wednesday that it completed the sale of its cell-processing business to its biggest shareholder, Baxter Healthcare Corp., for $4.3 million, plus unspecified royalties on future product sales.
* Quest Software, an Irvine maker of database software, said Wednesday that it acquired privately held software developer RevealNet Inc. in Rockville, Md. Financial terms were not disclosed.
* Former Assembly Speaker Curt Pringle has been selected president of the Orange County Fair Board, and attorney Ruben A. Smith was elected vice president. Pringle now heads Curt Pringle & Associates in Irvine, a public relations, governmental affairs and consulting firm. Smith is with the Irvine law firm of Alvarado, Smith & Sanchez.
