Compensation Help for Ill Rocketdyne Workers
From Times Staff Reports
Department of Labor officials will visit Simi Valley on Wednesday to tell former Rocketdyne workers how they can pursue compensation for cancer or lung disease contracted on the job.
Sessions will be at 1 and 7 p.m. at the Posada Royale Hotel, 1775 Madera Road.
As many as 6,000 former nuclear research workers at Rocketdyne’s Santa Susana Field Laboratory could be eligible for one-time settlements of $150,000 and for medical coverage under a new federal program.
