Sentencing Delayed for Ex-Escapee Pullum
From Times Staff Reports
A Van Nuys judge postponed the sentencing of Kevin Pullum on Monday on his attempted murder conviction after the former jail escapee announced he wanted a new lawyer.
Attorney Dermot Givens later said that he no longer wished to represent Pullum because Pullum refused to share information with Givens.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge John Fisher gave Pullum, who faces a separate felony proceeding downtown for his July escape from county jail, until Sept. 25 to find another lawyer.
