Dow Jones & Co. plans to publish a complete edition of its Wall Street Journal with full circulation for today, a spokesman said one day after devastating attacks on the World Trade Center across the street from the publisher’s downtown headquarters.

The newspaper published an abbreviated edition Wednesday that it estimates was delivered to 85% to 90% of its subscribers.

The company has not accounted yet for all its employees, said spokesman Steve Goldstein. “To the best of our knowledge, there have been no reports of serious injuries or fatalities,” he said. “But we will not be satisfied until we’ve accounted for all 900 of our employees who work in the World Financial Center.”

The World Financial Center is across the street from the World Trade Center, which was pulverized when two planes crashed into its twin towers. Many Journal reporters are working from home, but the company also has established a newsroom in its offices in South Brunswick, N.J.

Goldstein said it would be “many weeks” before the company could return to the World Financial Center.
