Bad ‘Car-mera’

Re “A Green Light on Red-Light Cameras?” Voices, Sept. 8: There is something to say about 290 camera-generated tickets being thrown out by a judge. This can give us a clue that something is wrong with the surveillance camera system.

These situations are most improper at a left turn, when the driver has to wait to yield on a green light and cannot usually turn until the yellow light. If not given a chance, the driver cannot make the turn until the red light. These situations are unfair, unreasonable and a waste of time for the driver. Proper supervision is obviously needed in this system--including other cities.
