Update--Moyer, the soft-throwing left-hander, has been one of baseball’s best second-half pitchers, going 8-0 in his last 11 starts. He ranks third in the American League in victories, sixth in earned-run average and eighth in opponents’ batting average (.239). The left-handed Schoeneweis hasn’t pitched since Sept. 6, when he gave up three runs on seven hits in 71/3 innings of a no-decision against Kansas City.
