New Immigration Office Consolidates Services
From Times Staff Reports
The Immigration and Naturalization Service opened a new office Wednesday.
The office, occupying more than five floors of the U.S. Federal Building at 34 Civic Center Plaza in Santa Ana, will consolidate services formerly offered at facilities in Westminster and Laguna Niguel. Among those are providing general information on status and citizenship.
The office also houses an enforcement division to investigate immigration-related crimes such as document fraud and migrant smuggling.
