Ever since Mariah Carey checked herself into a hospital in New York a few weeks back for exhaustion, she’s been the subject of controversy.
Despite all the rumors, that same week her single “Loverboy” entered the singles chart at No. 1. This week, the soundtrack for the movie “Glitter” debuts on the album charts at No. 2 locally and made a good showing nationally at No. 7.
On the singles chart, “Loverboy” continues its reign in the top 5, charting at No. 3 locally and No. 7 nationally.
Carey stars in the movie “Glitter,” which opens in wide release this weekend.
