Riverside County Hires Ex-Irvine Co. Executive

Riverside County supervisors voted this week to hire a former Irvine Co. spokesman as its consultant to improve strained relations with Orange County on transportation and land-use issues.
Gary H. Hunt, 52, is a partner in California Strategies, an Irvine-based consulting company specializing in government affairs and strategic planning. He will begin work immediately for Riverside County under a $100,000 contract.
Hunt was on the Irvine Co.’s government and community relations staff for 20 years.
