FileNet Corp., a Costa Mesa Internet software-management developer, said it agreed to buy EGrail Inc., a small Maryland company, for $10 million.

EGrail makes software products that help companies manage the content on their Web sites. The company’s 50 workers will be relocated to California early next year, said Martyn Christian, FileNet’s senior vice president of marketing. EGrail’s products will be rolled into FileNet’s line of Internet tools by the end of April.
