Safe Solution Offered to Dangerous Crosswalk

There is a crosswalk at the corner of East Stratford and Bradford, where the cities of Fullerton and Placentia meet.

It is used by a Fullerton grade school, Placentia High School and a couple of retirement groups. If Placentia installed one stop sign for northbound traffic and Fullerton installed one for southbound traffic, it would ensure the safety of many.

I have seen, on several occasions, a vehicle stopped at the crosswalk and then another vehicle swerve around that stopped vehicle, just missing those pedestrians. I hope this call for an inexpensive solution will not come after an injury or death. Please help these people. Even from the cold economic viewpoint, it would be very expensive to both cities because we know it is a hazard.
