CBS and UPN television networks, both owned by Viacom Inc., announced new partnership agreements with Clear Channel Communications for stations in Jacksonville, Fla.

Clear Channel’s WTEV-TV station in Jacksonville will begin broadcasting CBS programming July 15. This month CBS announced that it was ending its relationship with WJXT-TV, the Post-Newsweek-owned station in Jacksonville--the nation’s 53rd-largest market.

UPN, meanwhile, said Clear Channel’s Fox affiliate in Jacksonville, WAWS-TV, will switch to UPN in July. UPN also announced extensions of affiliate agreements in seven other markets, including Memphis, Tenn.; Little Rock, Ark.; and Wichita, Kan.
