Youth Choir to Perform at Boys & Girls Club

The Ventura Master Chorale Children’s Concert Choir will perform “Music by Kids ... for Kids” at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Oxnard. The program will include Pachelbel’s “Canon of Praise,” plus children’s songs performed to music by Mozart. The 38-member choir, directed by Marcene Jardine, consists of boys and girls ages 9 to 16.
The group will participate in this summer’s International Children’s Choir Festival in England, where they will sing in cathedrals in Canterbury and London.
The free program will be at the Oxnard Boys & Girls Club, 1900 W. 5th St.
