Boy May Be Prosecuted as an Adult in Rape Case

A judge will decide whether a 16-year-old Polytechnic High School football player will stand trial as an adult on charges of raping a teenage girl earlier this month.
The judge is expected to make the decision Aug. 22. Police did not release the youth’s name because he is a minor.
