Beseeching Barbie to Be Better Role Model

Re “The Dangers of Sexualizing Our Children,” July 28:

Padded bras, thong underwear, sexy clothes for children. Where will we draw the line? Sexualization of our children begins much earlier than preteen.

Barbie, are you listening? A message to Mattel: Barbie’s shoulders may not be strong enough to carry her share of this burden.
