Ramirez on Morals

If Michael Ramirez believes “moral relativism” to be more dangerous than a fatal virus, what is his alternative (editorial cartoon, Aug. 6)? Moral absolutism? And who is to declare the moral absolutes? Ramirez? George W. Bush? Jerry Falwell? How about Osama bin Laden, so certain of his own values? It’s moral absolutism that led to Sept. 11, Mr. Ramirez, not an appreciation of human and cultural diversity. Get over yourself!
