Ford Offers Incentives on 2003 Models

Ford Motor Co., struggling to boost its flagging U.S. sales, said it is offering cash rebates on most of its 2003 model Ford brand cars and trucks.

The world’s second-largest auto maker also said it was boosting incentives on some of its 2002 models by increasing rebates for its Windstar minivan and extending interest-free finance deals for its Explorer sport utility vehicle and Mustang sports car.

With the cut-rate deals announced, Ford will now be offering cash rebates of as much as $3,500 on its 2002 Ford models. Ford’s rebates on 2003 models add up to $1,000 on most models and $500 on select bestsellers, including the Focus.

The incentive program will run until Sept. 30.
