Gov. Hull Signs Deals for Reservation Gambling

Gov. Jane Dee Hull signed gambling compacts with 10 Indian tribes, the first step toward enacting a voter initiative to expand gambling on reservations.
Voters last month approved an initiative ordering the governor to sign deals that expand the number of slot machines and allow tribes to offer Las Vegas-style house-banked blackjack, which had not been allowed.
