From Times Wire Reports

The son of a business executive killed by a hit man told the House Government Reform Committee, in Boston investigating FBI use of informants, that the bureau let him down by shielding mobsters who continued to commit crimes.

David Wheeler’s father, Roger, 55 -- who owned Miami-based World Jai Alai -- was killed by hit man John Martorano in 1981 in Tulsa, Okla. His family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the government, claiming the FBI knew informants were committing crimes.
